Before grouting: To prevent staining, we suggest sealing your tiles with two coats of Miracle Sealants’ 511 Impregnator Sealer.

Mask art and relief tiles with painters tape or a similar product to prevent grout staining.

A 3/16” grout joint is built into our nominally-sized tile. The grout spacing may need to be adjusted to achieve a perfect fit, as Motawi tiles are handmade and there can be a little size variation.

We recommend a grout color that’s darker than the color of your tile. Specific colors for your Motawi tile project can be provided by the Design Team.

Before grouting your entire project, test your grout on a small area.

Because Motawi tiles have a rounded shoulder, we recommend limiting the grout to below the shoulder to highlight the tile’s depth and dimension.
