Every Motawi Tile is Handmade

In our Ann Arbor, Michigan studio, every Motawi ceramic tile is created by hand. Tiles are pressed into a mold and trimmed individually before being bisque-fired in a kiln. Then, each tile is hand-glazed before being fired for a second time.
